Based
on in class lecture,discussion, and demonstrations create 10 pages of thumbnail idea sketches and 10 orthographic view design idea sketches for the current studio project. Explore different sketching techniques.
Method
a) Notes
from lectures,demonstration, and scale drawing handouts
b) in class thumbnail drawing generation and experiments
c) generate 10 pages minimum 8.5 x 11 or larger thumbnail ideas
d) then develop 10 helmet ideas in side and front scale views based on the provided underlay or one of your own making
e) Use a numeral or letter system to make each sketch identifiable in presentation from 10 feet away. Include feature callouts , and branding . Do not repeat the composition

Technique / Materials
Marker, Pastel, colored pencil and gouache on 8.5" x11” or larger copy, bond paper, colored paper stock, or vellum
Use sweeps, french curves, straight edges and ellipse guides as needed for high level of line control.
