Material Cylinders
Assignment
Using Adobe Photoshop: Based on the theories discussed in class and as shown in
the demonstration sample document create images of cylinders made of different adjacent
materials.
There should be 3 pages with one cylinder on each page.
Employ a warm
artificial light and complementary cool shadow.
The materials should follow the descriptions provided on
the drawing on one of the lower layers of the
sample file.
Find a photo sample for each material and be sure to
reproduce with appropriate level of reflective or matte surface in the correct
lighting.
Recommended file size 300 dpi 8” x 10” or larger
Print each of the 3 pages on 81/2 x11 photo paper
in high resolution for class next
week.
